DESCRIPTION:Join the Friends on Saturday\, 17 February for a Botanics lovefest! \nComposting Workshops \nWe have organised two Composting workshops at the Kelvindale Growers Garden\, starting at 10:00 and 10:45.  Spaces are limited so please email our Chair to secure your spot! \nWe <3 the Botanics collective art project \nFrom 2pm we will meet in the Kibble Palace and you can help us create a special art installation by sharing what you love most about the Botanics!  All welcome! \nHow old is the Turkey Oak? \nFriends and visitors will have noticed the fallen Turkey Oak at bottom of the Great Lawn which came down on Christmas Eve.  Can you count the tree’s rings to determine its age?
