Taking advantage of the Kibble’s superb acoustics\, the 20-strong chorus weave their magic around the best of the great American Songbook\, including Irving Berlin\, Cole Porter\, Rodgers and Hart\, Hoagy Carmichael and many more. Free event\, but please make a donation at the door for charity. Last year we supported Diabetes Scotland and raised over £600.

SUMMARY:West End Festival: Glasgow Chamber Choir and Choral Marathon 3
DESCRIPTION:Choral Marathon celebrates the Commonwealth Games as well as marking the choir’s twentieth anniversary. Thirty singers perform five concerts over two days. New works have been commissioned from Scottish composers including Rory Boyle and Eddie McGuire for this unique event\, which will also reflect Glasgow’s history as an international port. Funded by the National Lottery through the Celebrate programme.
