DESCRIPTION:A Quest for Trees-a talk by Tom Christian \nThe Friends of Glasgow Botanic Gardens\, The Glasgow Tree Lovers’ Society and Glasgow Natural History Society jointly host Tom Christian\, Botanical Horticulturalist and Conservationist on November 14th 2019 at 7.30 \n  \n \nTom is a trustee of the charity Woodland Heritage and a member of the IUCN conifer specialist group.  In 2018 he was invited to become Assistant Editor of the International Dendrology Society’s ‘Trees and Shrubs Online‘ project\, an ambitious initiative to document the world’s temperate tree and shrub species. \n********************************************************************************************If you are travelling by car please note the parking restrictions near the venue due to the on-going building work at University of Glasgow and allow time to find a suitable parking space or if possible use an alternative method of transport to venue. \n

The venue is  wheelchair accessible\, buggies are welcome and we are dog friendly. \nThe Book Fair is located in The Hopkirk Building behind the main range\, please follow the signs.
