Tours

Winter 2024 – Thursdays

Following the success of our summer tours programme, the Friends are pleased to offer tours of the Kibble Palace on Thursdays, led by our volunteer Garden Guides.

Guides will lead tours around the glasshouse–a grade A listed building–discussing its colourful history and its living collection of plants, specimens primarily from the southern hemisphere.

Tours begin at 11am and 2pm on Thursdays and will last approximately one hour. Meet your guide inside the Kibble Palace fish pond near the Tap & Donate kiosk.

Tours are free to the public without prior booking, though the maximum group size will be 15 and you may be asked to come back another at a later time if the group is full.

Please see our Visit page for information on transportation, parking and accessibility.

Please note that under 18s must be accompanied by an adult and that dogs are not permitted in the glasshouses so unfortunately the tours are not dog-friendly.
