The Friends of Glasgow Botanic Gardens are funding, through the earlier generous legacy by the late Maureen Bell, a new outdoor classroom.

We were also fortunate in obtaining funding from the “Tesc0 Bags Scheme” and the Incorporation of Gardeners of Glasgow

In the refurbished Fern Garden just to the West of the Main Range it will include seating for 50 people, access for those with a disability and a central small performance area to be used by the teachers and Louise the Gardens Education officer. It will also be used as a small events area.
