In 2014, the Friends of Glasgow Botanic Gardens were awarded almost £140,000 by the Central Scotland Green Network for project to promote the National Tree Collections of Scotland, in Glasgow Botanic Gardens.
With this funding, the Friends helps to create a Tree Trail to promote the 20 most important trees in Glasgow Botanic Gardens, with information displays at each particular tree. Visitors can collect a Tree Trail map from the Kible Palace or view it below.
Additionally, each display along the trail includes a QR code linked to more detailed information on each tree.
