Please read through the FAQs before contacting the Friends or Gardens staff with any queries.
The Glasgow Botanic Gardens grounds and glasshouses are free to the public.
You can access the grounds including the Arboretum from 7am to dusk, year round.
You can access the Kibble Palace and Main Range glasshouses from 10:00 to 18:00 during the summer and 10:00 to 16:00 during the winter.
Please consult the Glasgow City Council website for more details.
Dogs are not permitted inside the Kibble Palace or Main Range glasshouses but are permitted on the grounds of the Botanic Gardens.
All dogs must be kept on a lead in the main area of the Botanics but they are permitted off-lead in the Arboretum and along the adjacent Kelvin Walkway.
Please pick up after your dog and do not allow your dog into flower beds.
The Glasgow Botanic Gardens is owned and managed wholly by Glasgow City Council. All events and private hire enquiries should be directed to events[at]glasgow.gov.uk in the first instance.
