Many of those reading will be aware of the very successful summer and autumn tours of Glasgow Botanic Gardens led by our garden guides in 2023.

As a further development The Friends and garden guides will commence winter tours of The Kibble Palace from mid January onwards 2024.

These will be led by our volunteer garden guides looking at the Palace, a grade A listed building, and discussing its colourful history as well as its living collection of mostly southern hemisphere plants.

Tours are on Thursdays starting at 11am and 2 pm lasting about 1 hour.

No booking is necessary. Meet your guide near the Tap and Donate stand at the fish pond inside The Kibble. The tours are free to attend but a donation towards the Gardens can be made by Tap and Donate.
